We are a small, down to earth operator providing a high quality accommodation by means of a holiday cottage and home-stay facilities.

We have a 5 Ha (12.5 acres) rural block some 70 kms from Wellington (NZ) and only about 10 kms from Martinborough's vineyards.

Rural tranquility, lots of trees (our property features over 100 different varieties of trees), good food and no stress, that's our motto.

We can accommodate 4 people in our cottage, which is self-contained, fully equipped, and features a cosy atmosphere, quality handmade rustic furniture (I am a keen woodworker) and beautiful views over the Rimutaka mountains.

Furthermore we have two tastefully designed double guest bedrooms in our main homestead, with a separate guest bathroom with shower and bath, accommodating another 4 guests.

We have especially designed and developed our property as a place to feel good, wouldn't you like to be there too?

We stayed in one of their homestay rooms and were very impressed by jan and maryanne's welcoming manner and the lengths they went to accommodate us. They cooked us a 3 course meal that was grain free and dairy free using many of the vegetables and sweet chestnuts from their massive garden. Everything was lovely, including the bed (we have a great night's sleep).

Jan and maryann are lovely, friendly and very welcoming hosts. We stayed in the self-contained cottage and it was lovely, we had a good nights sleep, it was well stocked with towels, linens etc, good shower. The property is beautiful to walk around and peaceful. Breakfast was yummy with everything being homemade from their farm. Maryann's almond and plum cake is mouth-watering. We will be back to stay and will be recommending them to our friends and family. Thank you so much for having us.
