Homestay, with breakfast, in host's lovely, architecturally designed house in an olive grove with views of the Waiohine river and surrounding mountains. Cool in summer and warm in winter. The site is very peaceful with only birdsong and the occasional sound of nearby farm animals. Great place for relaxing under the beautiful old totara trees, walking beside the river or watching small children play in the spacious grounds.

Guest suite, with wheelchair access, has a wet area shower and an outside bathtub on the private balcony for bathing under the stars.

The master suite upstairs is only available for a second couple (or single adult) in the same party. It has expansive views of the grounds, river and mountains.

The small rustic cabin in the olive grove is totally private and has stunning views down the river. It is furnished with family heirlooms and lit with a small solar powered light but has no plumbing. Private toilet facilities and a hot outdoor shower are a short walk away in main house. Kitchen and other facilities are available to cabin guests.

Pets are negotiable. No smoking inside.

A maximum of three couples and several children can be accommodated, including the cabin accommodation. The master suite upstairs is only available when two or more bedrooms are required.

The children sleep in a multipurpose room on sleeping platforms(2)--or the mattresses can be moved to the floor if children are young. Portacot available for a baby and an additional mattress can be rolled out on the floor if a third child is too large for portacot. Children, under 12 years of age, cost $30 each, with breakfast. Under two are free.

This lovely, private site can be booked for a small celebration or function. With several portable beds available, 10-12 adults can be accommodated with others camping outside. $600 for first night and $400 for subsequent nights. Breakfasts not included. The host can assist you in arranging catering.
