Welcome to Borders Retreat, a romantic self-contained cottage on a private section, tucked away amongst trees, beautifully decorated and there is a cosy logburner to gather around in the evenings.

Borders Retreat can sleep up to 6, in two queen bedrooms and a twin room with two single beds. Choose between the sumptuous mezzanine bedroom, the sunny garden bedroom or the japanese bedroom with the two single beds. The downstairs bedrooms can be closed off from the rest of the house so you can tuck the kids up in bed and relive the days of your courtship.

The fully equipped kitchen enables you to stay indoors all weekend if you wish - stock up with delicious Wairarapa food and wine from the delis of Greytown and cook up a storm.

Just a 5 minute stroll into town, where Greytown has wonderful cafes, award winning restaurants and boutique shops and only a few minutes walk to the new rail trail walkway.

Borders Retreat is one hour from Wellington and only a 15 minute drive from the award winning vineyards of Martinborough and Gladstone.

The Wairarapa is a great place to explore, and Borders Retreat the perfect place to come home to at the end of an eventful day.

2 Night Minimum Stay

Rates:

Weekend (Fri/Sat/Sun and School Holidays) $165.00 per night for a couple, with each additional guest $25 per adult or child per night. Note - Rate for 2 Singles is $20 extra per night (use of 2 beds)

Midweek (Mon-Thurs) $150 per night for a couple, with each additional guest $25 per adult or child. Note - Rate for 2 Singles is $20 extra per night (use of 2 beds)
